Polymer Clay Intensive with Christi Friesen August 26th & 27th


Come join Christi Friesen at Allegory Gallery in charming Ligonier, PA nestled in the picturesque Laurel Highlands of Southwestern Pennsylvania! Christi Friesen is a renowned international teacher, published author, product developer, and certified polymer clay enthusiast! She will be teaching four 3-hour workshops for a very affordable price! Take or or take them all! Pick your polymer clay experience! Each class is $45 and includes all materials! ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME!

On Day One (August 26th), Christi will be teaching "Go for the Gold" in the morning from 10AM to 1PM. In this class, students will learn how to work with polymer clay and a gold sgraffito technique with crystals.

Later on Day One (August 26th), Christi will be instructing, "Lines and Color". This class will focus on incising on polymer clay and tinting with pastels. This class runs from 2PM to 5PM.

On Day Two (August 27th), we're going to voyage under the sea with "Seahorse Roundup". In this workshop from 10AM to 1PM, students will learn all about sculptural fun with steampunk/fantasy accents and create their very own whimsical seahorse!

Later on Day Two (August 27th), Christi will conclude the weekend of workshops with "What a Cutup". In this workshop, she'll be showing how to work with creating veneers and assembling them with color! This class is from 2PM to 5PM.

Mark your calendars! Christi Friesen will be showcasing a selection of her works in a solo exhibition on the Project Wall. The title of her show is, "The Nature of Things: Works by Christi Friesen". The show opens on Friday, August 25th at 5PM.

We will also host the work of Stacey Peterson for one night only! Stacey will feature her work in a special trunk show, showcasing her amazing jewelry.
